Home Heroes

Our projects are fueled by your generosity, either through your time, advocacy, donation, or prayers. With your help, we support local humanitarians to assist children living in shortage of food, clothing, medical care, education, and protection.

You can make a difference by donating a single dollar or a few weeks of your time, organizing a fund raising event, buying pictures from our Photo Gallery, or simply passing on this message:

"Thousands of children around the world need our help. We can sit around and do nothing, but why not extend a helping hand and make a sustainable difference?"

 Marc Nemiroff Marc Nemiroff
Marc Nemiroff is regarded as one of the top child psychologists in the USA.

Mark spends one month a year in India counseling both orphans and impoverished families. Marc brings us a great deal of clinical as well as in-the-field expertise that will help Janagha’s caregivers to understand what we call “the tough cases”.

 Sheila Capastany Sheila Capastany

Sheila is a powerful humanitarian who understands the spark of life that exists in every child. Sheila spent one year in an orphanage herself when she was a child and five years in the social services system until she found a loving foster home. Our director met Sheila shortly after her adoption and they have been friends for nearly 30 years.
Sheila is a PHD who has worked in social services all of her life and now helps pregnant and impoverished immigrant women with prenatal care. Sheila knows a great deal about the orphanage process because she was adopted out of an orphanage and has adopted a child her own (she also has two birth children). Furthermore, most of the women supported by Sheila’s nonprofit are Muslim.
